Jesus took time for people, he touched them with his love and in this case, brought a little girl back to life. She will never forget the day Jesus put breath back into her body...

Woman Touches Jesus' Garment

How hard do you seek God? Would you push through a crowd to touch his garment?
Maybe you have prayed for years for an answer to a prayer, only for it not to come -- at least in the way you think. When the woman who touched Jesus' garment pushed her way to him, she had heard the news she was getting worse.
And she was not giving up - she found Jesus!

Another barren woman, who conceives a child in her old age - and when the angel told Elizabeth's husband, yes, he started asking questions.
Isn't that like us? We pray for answers -- then we question them...or show disbelief...
Remember, nothing is impossible with God and he blessed this family with a son - who prepared the way for the Messiah, and he was filled with the Holy Spirit inside her womb!
Mary, Mother of the Son of God

Mary had faith to believe the angel's words. She said, "I am the Lord's servant."
She discovered that nothing is impossible with God. Even Elizabeth gets a baby in her old age. We too can wrap ourselves in the love of Jesus, seeking him out like the shepherds and wise me did at his birth.
Mary found favor with God -- you can too!
A Woman of Noble Character

Living up to her standards might seem out of reach, but start with small steps -- move ahead with noble and Godly living.
The Virtuous woman is someone we should try to emulate...
Women of the Bible can teach us...if we'll listen, learn and live by God's standards...

Dinah was violated by the prince. He saw her and took her, the Bible says -- but her silence is so loud, I can only imagine her pain.
Her brothers deceive and become murderers...and their father Jacob is not happy with them at all.
As for Dinah - her life will never be the same!

The Shunammite woman had the gift of hospitality, but the miracle of Elisha's influence and God's touch -- gave her a son.
But one day the boy died!
And something happened -- no one held a funeral...see what happened to the child.

Hard times. No food for her family, and now the bill collector was at the door. Elisha, the prophet -- sent her on a jar collecting escapade, she did as he instructed and the oil --
It kept on coming.....she paid off her debts and her small act of faith -- poured faith into her family. And God worked a miracle!
And they were free...her boys would not be sold into slavery.
Hannah's Robe of Love for Samuel

Hannah doesn't strike back -- but instead prays to God -- who answers her with a son Samuel -

The widow of Zarephath planned her last meal, gathered up some sticks and thought she and her son would die eating the last bit of flour and oil.
The prophet Elijah showed up on the scene, he was hungry and thirsty and God provided plenty for all....
A miracle to say the least...until the widow's son died, then she lost her faith and wondered why....why...why...
