Interruptions are God's Opportunities

Are you too busy for others? Jarius, interrupted Jesus to save his little girl.

Jesus took time for people, he touched them with his love and in this case, brought a little girl back to life. She will never forget the day Jesus put breath back into her body...

Let God meet up with you, he's never too busy!

Woman Touches Jesus' Garment

How hard do you seek God? Would you push through a crowd to touch his garment?

Maybe you have prayed for years for an answer to a prayer, only for it not to come -- at least in the way you think. When the woman who touched Jesus' garment pushed her way to him, she had heard the news she was getting worse.

And she was not giving up - she found Jesus!

Prepare the Way for the Lord - Elizabeth Got it Started

Another barren woman, who conceives a child in her old age - and when the angel told Elizabeth's husband, yes, he started asking questions.

Isn't that like us? We pray for answers -- then we question them...or show disbelief...

Remember, nothing is impossible with God and he blessed this family with a son - who prepared the way for the Messiah, and he was filled with the Holy Spirit inside her womb!

Mary, Mother of the Son of God

Mary had faith to believe the angel's words. She said, "I am the Lord's servant."

She discovered that nothing is impossible with God. Even Elizabeth gets a baby in her old age. We too can wrap ourselves in the love of Jesus, seeking him out like the shepherds and wise me did at his birth.

Mary found favor with God -- you can too!

No Good Deeds for Jezebel

Taking the land, the people and whatever she wanted, Jezebel lied, killed and stole to get her way. She prospered at the expense of others - but in the end she and her king husband Ahab - met up with the likes of the dogs, literally.

Dogs licked his blood from a chariot, while she got trampled by horses, only for the dogs to eat her body.

Not a pretty site - but then again, evil isn't pretty!

A miracle to say the least...until the widow's son died, then she lost her faith and wondered why....why...why...

Spies in the City

Rahab lived a questionable life, met up with two spies and hid them on her roof. She protected them in her home from the king's men in Jericho.

Securing a place in their camp she helped the men leave as they climbed down the window by way of a sash -- her life changed by this chance encounter.

She turned her life over the same God the spies lived for -- you can too.

Deception Dame

Rebekah, her deception began in her thoughts - affected those around her -- and caused problems for all involved.

She passes on this ugly habit to her son, the family breaks apart and she never sees her beloved son again.

If only life choices offered second chances -- some do --- this one didn't.

Listen and see if you have ever tried to get your way by deceiving others...

Leading Lady - You Be the Judge

Deborah's story is much like the story of Jesus, because we see the Israelites going through oppression, and of course, most of the time it’s because of their own actions.

And yet, God sends someone, a person to rescue them, much like a deliver, and much like Jesus delivering us from our sins.

So here comes the Judge...Here comes the Judge
